More New (sort of) Music Added and New (actually) Features On The Way !

Our underpaid and overworked staff has been hard at work in the Alt Class X studio, churning out more music for the station.  Poor little Slappy The Intern has been locked in the dubbing facility since late Spring, recording more classic vinyl.  Slappy's hard work is beginning to pay off, thanks to an endless supply of Central Market coffee and Dr. Dude's high octane TexMex cuisine in the palatial employee lounge

Just Added to Alt Class X:

David Bowie-Nothing Has Changed

Bowie's 2 disk HD vinyl album was released in late 2014, containing tracks spanning his entire career.  The vinyl release is stunning in it's clarity and resolution, much preferable to the CD or Digital version.  Includes Heroes, Changes, Life on Mars?, Space Oddity, Starman, Ziggy Stardust and more.

Siouxie And The Banshees-Through The Looking Glass

Released in 1987, Siouxie And The Banshees' Through The Looking Glass contains cover versions of many classic songs.  Included among the many fine tracks are "This Wheel's On Fire" (Bob Dylan and The Band), "The Passenger" (Iggy Pop).and the Billie Holliday classic "Strange Fruit".

Camper Van Beethoven-Vampire Can Mating Oven (EP)

Released prior to the band's signing to Virgin Records, this EP contains six tracks showcasing their California Indie Rock sound and the band's twisted sense of humor. The band's tongue in cheek liner notes are worth the read.

Now...let's get on the "New" features coming to Alt Class X!

1.) Doctor Dude's Lowbrow Cooking Show
Join the kindly Doctor as he demonstrates his world renowned cooking skills.  Marvel at dishes like Armadillo Con Queso, Crispy Critter Enchiladas, and Jade Helm Field Ration Flambe!

2.) Laundry With The Stars
Marvel at the detergent-slinging skills of some of rock's biggest names! Can Iggy Pop really fold towels?  Will the Pet Shop Boys manage to remove those pesky stains from their silk shirts? Stay tuned and find out!

3.) Talk Back To Dr. Dude
The kindly (sometimes) Doctor opens up the email and Twitter lines to field your questions and insult your intelligence.

Only one of these things is true.

It's Number 3
